VISSBA: A company website for a landscape architecture studio
VISSBA is one of my first delivered websites — a clear, professional presentation for a landscape architecture studio that serves as the company's main online presence and gives visitors all the important information in one place.
- Code-free
- the client manages the content
- Responsive
- works across every device
About the project
VISSBA is one of my first delivered web projects. The goal was to create a clear, professional presentation for a landscape architecture studio that would serve as the company's main online presence and give visitors all the important information in one place.
The project was built at a time when I primarily created web presentations on WordPress. Although today I focus mainly on building web applications and modern custom systems, VISSBA is an important part of my professional journey and shows the foundations I gradually built more complex projects on.
The brief
The main requirement was to create a simple, easily manageable website that would:
- present the company's services
- showcase completed projects
- provide contact information
- feel professional and trustworthy
- run without complex administration
Given the nature of the project, there was no need for advanced functionality or complex integrations. The emphasis was on clarity, usability and easy content management.
The build
The site was built on WordPress using the Elementor visual editor. The solution included:
- designing the site structure
- building the individual pages
- presenting the services
- presenting completed projects
- contact forms
- a responsive layout for mobile devices
- basic SEO setup
Thanks to WordPress, the client can easily edit the content without any technical knowledge.
Further development
The project has been running for a long time, and its modernisation is being discussed for the future.
Given how web technologies have evolved and today's expectations around performance, content management and extensibility, the next logical step could be a new generation of the site built on modern technologies.
One option is moving to a modern React-based frontend, which would bring higher performance, a better user experience and greater flexibility for further growth.
My role
- designing the site structure
- implementing the WordPress solution
- building the individual pages
- basic SEO optimisation
- the technical delivery of the project
Conclusion
VISSBA is one of my first deliveries and marks the start of my journey in web development. Although today I work mostly on web applications, automation and more complex systems, projects like this one let me gain experience with web design, working with clients and building functional digital solutions.
